From a young age I have always enjoyed sketching animals. When I retired to the North Okanagan, I picked up the pencils again and began a journey that would take me not only deeper into creating achromatic drawings but also into the world of color with pastels and acrylics. My passion is animals: pet portraits and wildlife art. I work exclusively from good quality, high resolution photos. I strive to recreate the likenesses, nuances and personalities of each animal I paint in my own unique style.
